Is it a story spoiler if you don’t exactly have context for a cutscene? If you do happen to feel that way, then perhaps you should click away now because Blizzard has decided to share an advance look at a cutscene from the upcoming Diablo IV: Lord of Hatred expansion.
“Walk the path of faith and fire as Queen Adreona stands beside Akarat, their alliance forged in defiance of encroaching darkness. But devotion is a fragile thing, and unseen forces twist the truth, lurking just beyond the light. Will you follow… or be led astray?”
The cutscene doesn’t really provide any sort of idea when this all takes place, but we have to presume that it’s somewhere near the beginning of the expansion’s story campaign. Provided you’re not averse to being spoiled whatsoever, you can watch the video below.
Assuming you are against seeing story-related anything for Lord of Hatred, just below the cutscene premiere is a lore video about Neyrelle, the Horadric scholar, which is much more vague and kind of weaves her into the April 28th’s expansion story.
