Storyline
Heatwave is an ongoing story-driven visual novel series following Sam's life. This first game focuses on the prelude to his summer, with many more adventures to come! The last thing Sam expected during his final summer before college was to end up staying at Michael’s house, his mom’s ex-boyfriend. A man he hadn’t seen in over ten years and didn’t have the fondest memories of. What was meant to be a short stay quickly becomes something far more complicated, when old resentment meets unexpected curiosity. As Sam meets new people and struggles with unfamiliar thoughts, one thing becomes clear: this trip isn’t just about getting by, it’s about discovering what he really desires.
