
My memory is Swiss-cheesed at this point, so full of holes I’m lucky I remember my own name on any given day. But I’ll never forget the day that World of Warcraft’s first expansion, The Burning Crusade, released because I picked up my copy at midnight, installed it at one in the morning, and then proceeded to play more or less nonstop until late the next evening.
That may be my single longest MMO gaming session, and it’s unlikely to be topped in my life ever again. But maybe you’ve topped me? Or have an interesting story?
