GTA VI Launches November 19: Preload Date, Editions and Pre-Order Bonus

Grand Theft Auto VI is less than a month from release. Rockstar Games has confirmed that the game launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and that it is a single-player experience. Here is what the studio has officially announced so far.

Release date, platforms and preloading

• Release date: November 19, 2026.
• Platforms: PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar’s announcements list no other platforms.
• Digital preloading: players who pre-ordered a digital copy can begin preloading on November 12.
• Physical copies: the boxed version contains a download code rather than a game disc, and it is available starting November 12 to support preloading.

Pre-order bonuses and the Ultimate Edition

Pre-orders opened globally on June 25. Rockstar says all pre-orders and purchases made before November 20 receive the Vintage Vice City Pack, a collection of items it describes as a flashback to when the neon burned brightest. Digital pre-orders also include a free month of GTA+.

The Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition adds an exclusive collection of premium vehicles, weapons and apparel. Check Rockstar’s official page for the full contents of each edition before you buy.
