Effective October 19, 2026. This policy explains how GameGood at gamegood.soundgoodent.net handles website, account, linked-network and creator-tool information. GameGood is operated as part of Soundgood Entertainment. Use the privacy request form below to contact the site administrator, request a copy of your data, or request erasure.

Information we use and why

We use your GameGood username, email, profile choices and sign-in information to operate your account. We store games you follow, your playing status, alert preferences and community content to provide the features you choose. Requests and purchases may include contact information, service requirements, order identifiers and payment status. Payment credentials are handled by PayPal; GameGood does not need your PayPal password or full card number. Security and operational logs may include IP addresses, request details and timestamps.

Linked accounts and optional permissions

Connecting an account is optional. We store the provider’s account identifier, authorized profile details, permission scopes, connection timestamps and encrypted access or refresh tokens needed for the features you authorize. OAuth providers handle their own sign-in. Do not send passwords, authorization codes or session tokens through chat, comments or support messages.

  • Discord: identity, avatar, email when authorized, and authorized linked-account, server or membership information. Selected data supports sign-in, linked identities, server features and alerts you enable. Alert delivery and bot interactions use Discord.
  • Twitch: identity, channel and stream information, public videos or clips, and additional creator permissions only when requested for a feature. Enabled clip automation can process stream events and short-lived chat activity to identify clip moments; creator history and generated exports are associated with your account. Disconnecting Twitch stops local automation and removes local creator activity and exports. It does not delete Twitch clips.
  • YouTube / Google: GameGood uses YouTube API Services. Read-only authorization provides your connected channel’s identity and information needed to list its recent public uploads. Private and unlisted videos are excluded from the profile Videos tab. We do not upload, edit or delete YouTube content through this feature. By using YouTube features you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. See the Google Privacy Policy. GameGood’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for personalized advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models.
  • Battle.net: basic linking reads your identity and BattleTag. The separate WoW character feature requests wow.profile only after you choose it. It reads the authorized retail World of Warcraft character list for a region you select, including character names, realms and available level, race, class and faction details. It does not promise access to other Battle.net games or WoW Classic.
  • PlayStation Network: the current connection is an unofficial, member-initiated NPSSO/session exchange, not a Sony-approved OAuth application. The NPSSO input is exchanged with Sony and is not retained as the NPSSO cookie. Encrypted resulting tokens support authorized identity, played-game history, playtime and trophy snapshots. Public activity requires separate sharing choices. Head-to-head comparisons use recently synced account totals from GameGood members whose trophy activity is visible to the viewer; they do not query arbitrary private PSN accounts.
  • Epic Games and Xbox / Microsoft: enabled connections use authorized account identifiers and display names. They do not currently import purchase libraries or achievements. Required provider configuration and approvals may limit availability.

Public profiles and sharing

You control connected identity visibility from Account. New network identities and the new YouTube and Battle.net activity-sharing choices are private by default. Existing Discord and Twitch profile settings continue to apply. Sharing a network identity does not automatically share its activity: YouTube uploads, Battle.net characters and PSN games/trophies have separate activity settings. Public activity requires the network identity, its activity option and a public GameGood profile. Anyone can copy information you deliberately make public. Turning off sharing prevents subsequent authorized profile-data requests from returning that information, but cannot retract copies made by other people.

Retention, refresh and revoked access

New profile activity snapshots expire after one day. YouTube and Battle.net saved account-profile information is removed or refreshed before 30 days; automatic token refresh does not extend the age of that profile information. Hourly WordPress scheduled maintenance removes expired data, checks YouTube authorization at most daily, and removes local YouTube data when it detects revoked or invalid authorization. WordPress scheduled work depends on the host’s scheduler and site traffic; use the immediate deletion control below if you want access stopped now. Provider outages can delay verification and synchronization.

Clip downloads expire according to the retention displayed in Clip Creator (seven days by default). Account details, community content and service records otherwise remain while needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, meet legal duties or protect security. Site backups and infrastructure logs are controlled by the hosting provider and may persist beyond removal from the live database. Access to retained backups must remain restricted; a restored copy must have outstanding deletion requests reapplied before linked data is used. We do not promise a backup deletion schedule that the host has not confirmed.

Disconnect and delete data for any linked account

Sign in, open Account → Profile activity & data controls, select Discord, Twitch, YouTube, Battle.net, PlayStation Network, Epic Games, Xbox Live, or All linked accounts, and choose Disconnect & delete selected data. The control immediately removes GameGood’s selected connection tokens, identity, sharing choices and associated profile activity snapshots. Twitch deletion also removes local creator activity and processed exports. Reconnect only if you want to authorize a new connection. Deleting a connection may remove a sign-in method; keep another way to access your GameGood account.

This deletes data held by GameGood, not the original provider account, videos, characters, trophies, game purchases or content at that provider. It does not cancel a paid subscription; manage billing separately. Order, tax, dispute and security records may need to be retained for legal reasons. Use the request form below for wider account erasure or an export. We verify the request through your email and the administrator reviews it. For YouTube-related deletion requests and revoked consent, applicable API rules require deletion as soon as possible and within seven calendar days; immediate self-service deletion is available from Account.

Revoke the provider’s authorization too

GameGood attempts provider-side revocation for supported YouTube and Twitch grants when disconnected. A provider or network failure can prevent that attempt. You can independently remove authorization at Google third-party connections (including YouTube), Twitch Connections, Discord User Settings → Authorized Apps, Battle.net Connections, Epic Games Connections, and Microsoft app permissions. For the unofficial PSN session, use PlayStation account security controls to end sessions; GameGood cannot guarantee that deleting a local token terminates the Sony session. Removing provider authorization does not itself delete your GameGood account. For Battle.net, you can also disable game-data sharing in Battle.net Privacy settings.

Service providers, cookies and external content

Hosting, edge caching, WordPress/Jetpack services, email delivery, anti-spam tools, payment processing and the networks you connect process information needed to deliver their services. Providers may process data in other countries under their own privacy terms. Login, account-security and OAuth-state cookies protect sessions and complete authorization. Website analytics may record page visits and feature interactions; credentials are not intended to be included in analytics. Affiliate links can let merchants attribute referrals. Some pages contain third-party images, streams, videos or advertising; those providers can receive your IP address and browser information and may use cookies when their content loads. The new YouTube Videos tab links to YouTube instead of automatically loading a player.

Comments collect the submitted comment, name, email, website and technical anti-spam information; approved comments and chosen public names may be visible. A hash of your email may be sent to Gravatar for an avatar; see Automattic’s privacy policy. Avoid uploading files with private information or embedded location metadata that you do not want public. Service-request forms store what you submit so the team can respond.

Security, rights and policy changes

We use HTTPS, encrypted provider-token storage, server-side permission checks and restricted administration. No service can guarantee absolute security. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, receive a copy of your information or complain to a supervisory authority. Contact the site administrator using the form below for assistance or privacy questions. GameGood does not use these profile integrations to make decisions about employment, credit, housing or other similarly significant eligibility. Changes to these practices will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date; materially expanded provider permissions require a new authorization flow.

Request a copy or deletion of your data

For immediate linked-account deletion, use Account → Profile activity & data controls. For a wider request, submit the email associated with your GameGood account below. WordPress will send a confirmation link; the site administrator then reviews your confirmed request. This form does not immediately delete your WordPress account.

Include privacy questions or complaints in the optional field above. The GameGood site administrator reviews confirmed requests.
