Rainbow Six Siege Operation Split Fire: Noor, Legend Division and 3v3 Arcade Explained

Operation Split Fire, the third season of Year 11 for Rainbow Six Siege, launched on September 1, 2026 as patch 3.46 (1.000.151 on consoles). It adds a new shield-counter defender, a targeted Villa update and a new top ranked playlist, and it keeps building on Ranked 3.0. Ubisoft’s mid-season update on October 15 then opened Legend Division and rebalanced Noor. Here is what is in the season.
Noor, the new defender
Noor is an Egyptian defender built to break the shield meta. According to Hotspawn’s preview, her Horus Lance Launcher is designed to counter shields and damage targets through objects. MP1st’s patch notes list this loadout:
- Primary weapons: Commando 9 and ALDA 5.56
- Secondary weapons: 1911 TACOPS and Bailiff 410
- Gadgets: Deployable Shield and Barbed Wire
- Stats: three stars for both health and speed
Ubisoft’s mid-season notes buff her: direct impact damage against operators rises from 50 to 80, the Horus Lance Launcher now damages ballistic shield operators during the shield removal animation, and her hitboxes were improved.
Legend Division is now live
Legend Division is a solo-queue ranked playlist for players looking to climb above Champion. It opened with the October 15 mid-season update and runs through December 1. According to Ubisoft, you need all of these to play:
- Secure Boot enabled on PC
- A 2FA app enabled on your account
- Champion rank
- Clearance Level 200 or higher
Secure Boot supports Siege’s ShieldGuard anti-cheat, and Ubisoft ran a ban wave of more than 50,000 accounts for account sharing, selling and ban evasion ahead of the launch. The top 100 players receive a Legend Division charm at the end of a season, according to Esports.gg.
Other season content
- 3v3 Arcade: a limited-time mode that ran from September 8 to 21.
- Wasteland Circuit: Siege’s first drone racing event, which ran from September 23 to October 13.
- Ranked 3.0: the season applies a soft reset and tuning changes. AllThings.how reports that placement matches award 100 RP per win and remove 50 RP per loss. The mid-season update adds a final ranked map rotation.
- Villa: targeted map updates, including a new garage.
- Halloween event: Doktor’s Curse returns and runs through November 2.
The Operation Split Fire Battle Pass runs from September 1 to December 1, according to Ubisoft.
What it means for players
Attackers who rely on ballistic shields should expect Noor to punish them, and her buffs make her stronger in that role. If you play ranked on PC, check your Secure Boot and 2FA settings before you try for Legend Division. More on the game is on the Rainbow Six Siege game page on GameGood.
